I was just browsing through my itunes and realized I have NO Rufus Wainwright. The travesty.
I work way too much and school is boring and holy crap its August? What?
Ohhh IHC why do you do me like you do?
I have to move in three weeks...who wants to help I'll give you candy and beer and food.

So my favorite little boy left today. Yes, he was the same boy who threw pee at me. But, I forgave him for that and eventually he became my favorite. It took me 45 minutes to leave work last night because he kept trying to come home with me. He ran all the way down three flights of stairs to the door to the parking lot trying to follow me to my car. Bill says he cried for 20 minutes after I left. He left at 10:30 this morning and I ended up crying all the way home I was so upset that he's really gone :( |

I am far too sleep deprived to handle life right now.
Weekends are weekends, and therefore I never get enough sleep. But this weekend was exceptional. Friday night we went to the Greenhouse for a mini-apartment warming party but came home early. Except then I got woken up at 9am on Saturday and ended up going to Danvers to see the family/pick up my new awesome glasses. Saturday night people came over before the Dane Cook show, which started at 10:30 (yes, PM) but really didnt start til 11 and didnt get over until 1:15 (yes, AM). All 13 of us walked ourselves home from the Fleetcenter and didnt get in til 3am. I was so exhausted on the way home that I nearly walked into a payphone. Of course working last night and this morning didnt help either, so I'm ready for a nap.
I have yet to get used to being outside without a jacket or having to constantly arm myself with sunglasses. Its OK though, it just means we're that much closer to summer and the beach and air conditioning and wonderfulness. |

- picked housing for next year, I've got a single bedroom in 604 West Village G. Thanks to the ridiculously horrible housing selection its a 6-person apartment, but I'll live considering...
- I'm applying to study abroad in London next Spring. Renee, Seanne, and Genna are all going abroad for coop/study abroad, so I figured I shouldnt miss out on the experience. I'd be back in April, with plenty of time to work in order to gain back all the money I spent over there.
- Coop is now officially halfway over and my last day is June 27. I just about had it this weekend and was ready to walk myself out of the building, but the past few days have been good, especially with some good news, so I'm back in the game. I also find it hilarious how ridiculously ghetto I am at work. I guess I pick it up from my coworkers and hey, at least it makes the kids listen.
- Registered for classes today and I got all the ones I wanted for the Fall, as follows:
- MWTh 10:30-11:35 Psychology of Women
- MWTh 1:35-2:40 Developmental Psychology
- MW 2:50-4:30 Counseling Theories and Practices
- Tu 11:45-3:15 Seminar in Clinical Psychology
- I'm staying at the Italian Home as relief for the summer and fall since it'll be good money to have and I can work around my schedule. It sounds crazy considering everything that I deal with, but I really like the job. (I'm obviously insane.)
- Go Red Sox!
- Boo snow.
- Yay for spring and then Easter in 2.5 weeks (accompanied by a three day weekend!)

Does anyone wanna go see RENT? Its coming to the Wang Theatre June 6 - 25 and tickets are $65. They go on sale tomorrow, but I'll hold off til Monday or Tuesday to buy them if people wanna go. Let me know ASAP. |

So today was probably the best Valentine's Day in a long time. Worked this morning, did some shopping, then came home to some nice Ghirardelli chocolates from Seanne. Rebecca gave me a Valentine, Pete brought chocolates, Dan brought flowers, and Seanne made a delicious three course meal.
Sam Adams tour this weekend and perhaps some visitors? My roommates are gone all weekend so people should hang out or something.
Oh and at some point I'll actually answer people's questions by posting an accurate job description. |

My computer's back up and running thanks to a new free hard drive from Dell, so I thought I'd pop in and share a few words.
Work: In the past three days I have been kicked in the head twice, scratched (hard enough to draw blood and probably scar), hit, slapped, spit at, and practically wrestled a million children. And written hundreds of serious incident reports to talk about it. Other than that, its fun. I like most of the staff, and I find myself getting more comfortable each day in the position. The hours arent terrible, although my body really doesnt like to see 5:45am. I dont think I'll ever do this for the rest of my life, but the coop will be bearable, especially when the pool opens up. (Ask me about the job and I'll actually tell you what I do, if youre curious.)
Life: In case you didnt know, my grandmother was in the hospital last week hardcore. I mean, she's still there now, but no one really thought she was going to make it past Sunday night. Therefore, I took time off from work and left in a rush Monday and spent the week at home. It was quite the experience and one I'd rather not relive, but it was good spending some time with the family and now Etta's better. I visited her today and she's still her old complaining self again, so its nice.
Other: Thinking about moving off campus for next year. Find out lottery numbers next week. Today was payday. Tomorrow I work 12-10 (ugggh). Having a credit card is dangerous for my bank account. Got my hair cut and colored two weeks ago. Have been going to the gym because it helps me de-stress. I am possibly concussed. Call me and lets hang out when we have time. That means all of you. |
